The Dryer Drum Belt circles the dryerâs entire drum and attaches it to the motor to create constant spinning during the drying cycle. If your dryerâs motor is running but the drum isnât turning, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This part features 5 ribs with 4 grooves. When replacing the part, make sure the belt is aligned on the high part of the drum to prevent damage to the idler pulley guide arm. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.
